⚡ Electrostatic Potential — V = kq/r around a point charge
A single point charge q sits at the origin and sets up an electric potential at every point in space. All points the same distance r away share the SAME potential, so the field of equal-potential points forms concentric shells (teal rings). Move the probe out and read how the potential V = kq/r falls off as 1/r — halve the distance and V doubles. Slide the charge q and the probe radius r and watch V respond.
A single point charge q sits at the origin — it sets up an electric potential everywhere around it.
